Historic Info: Building was constructed in 1939-40. Originally housed a & P grocery store and Langworthy's department store. Article on grand opening of the A & P in the June 27, 1940 edition of the INDEPENDENT REGISTER (p. 1) shows photograph of the newly-completed building.
